From #Athens to #Dublin with @aegeanairlines in Business Class - a quick photo tour, for those not bothered reading the blog (did I ever mention, 'link in bio'? 😁)

- Incredibly peaceful, spacious lounge with great views; the only issue was we just didn't have enough time to really make use of the bar (3rd pic - no surprise that I felt that merited its own feature).
- Classic short-haul European business cabin BUT...with decent seats, an actual middle seat table, really good food, and - prepare the fireworks for this act of EU airline exorbitance - a pre-departure Champagne 🥂
- As an added bonus, @isha_aquaphile & I were treated to additional complimentary in-flight entertainment; Row 1 getting rapidly wasted (not because of the crew - one or two seemed to be all it took) and all that brought. 😬

✈️ Travel Hacks That Work?
What online viral travel hacks actually work and aren't completely ridiculous?

On the blog today I share - not that anyone asked - my top most-resented, completely useless viral 'travel hacks' that seem to be doing the rounds (4th link in bio, or windowseatpreferred.com/hacks)
.
Top of the list for me has to be the current fave 'leave the middle seat empty' hack, where some poor solo traveller has to either get into awkward conversation with you, or sit in between two people that know each other.
.
Following that closely, would have to be the idea of dressing up nicely and/or bringing gifts for the crew and/or mentioning 'revenue management' (what is that even supposed to do?) with the sole intention of blagging a free upgrade.
.
Of the several times I've been upgraded, none involved a particularly noteworthy sartorial form, or gifts for the crew.

Back in the olden days - when you drank and tried to sleep in full view of every single person in the cabin, but had a ridiculous amount of storage space and a whole uncovered footrest, plus enough floorspace between that and your seat to pitch a small tent ⛺️
.
Who else has had the chance to experience this incredibly generous @omanairofficial business class layout?

Though I love privacy and sliding doors, this was an absolute classic for sheer amount of space per person 😆

You pretty much can't not take a great picture on Koh Lipe, even if you try 🤩

We came here first several years ago and visited again earlier this year - it's definitely gotten busier, a little pricier; but is still infinitely quieter, easier to get around and - I'd argue - more stunning, than the more easily accessible destinations on the Thai mainland.

If you're considering a visit, and want to do it before it becomes full-scale tourist destination, now is absolutely the time to go!
